FROM THE CEO
When I assumed the role of Interim CEO, one of the commitments we made was to communicate regularly. We've begun this with our recent webinars. If you missed them, you can find recordings at https://www.verses.ai/news. Thank you to everybody who has asked such thoughtful questions.
I am pleased to say that VERSES has made technological and commercial breakthroughs in the last few years. We now have a product that shows strong signals of market fit. So, it’s time to focus on commercialization. This will be our main priority in the coming months.
That means:
1. Keeping our focus on delivering value to our current and future customers.
2. Focused research that will deliver new capabilities over time.
We'll share more information soon. In the meantime, if you have questions for our next webinar, let me know.

KARL’S CORNER
In this month’s Karl’s corner, Karl discusses his ongoing work on complex system modeling for financial services. This work aims to understand the natural laws that govern systems like the brain, the weather, and financial markets.
This month Karl explains how financial markets are of particular interest from the perspective of active inference because they are driven by agents (either people or firms) with well-defined preferences. This is, of course, unlike the weather which has no agency. This feature means that we can use active inference to simulate how different "types" of agents will behave.
